Best Keyword Research Tool I’ve Used?

Affiliate Internet Marketing, Creation 22 October 2009 | 6 Comments

People have asked me what’s the best to use. Most beginners ask me this simply because they know that everything starts with the keyword(s).

The best I can recommend? It actually depends on you.

I would highly recommend both Keyword Elite 2.0 and a close second is Market Samurai. There are some more like Traffic Travis and Micro Niche Finder, ETC. but those two are really my top choices for the best award.

If you are just starting out though and need to save money, then I suggest the actual Google Keyword Research Tool. Just a little warning though, aside from taking longer, you might find it harder and more confusing with all the data thrown at you. So when you do get enough spare cash, I highly suggest you get a keyword tool as soon as possible.

I started with the earliest version of Market Samurai and stuck with it for the first part of my online life. It’s buggy which was expected but it was already better than the THEN Keyword Elite 1.0.

When Keyword Elite 2.0 launched recently, I was kinda hesitant to try it, but I just went along and bought it, since I just thought about the end result, which was, I could save more time so I can make more money.

In the end, I was more than happy I did. It just worked smoothly and had a cuter interface. :)

It gets the data from both Google and Brad Callen’s database so it gives the data a great estimate, which is all you can really ask for!

If you do CPA, or Adwords, then KE 2.0 is really a great choice.

For those that are new here, I lean on SEO for my sites, except this one because this is a personal blog used for experiments. I prefer SEO rather than Adwords but I still do both. What I do in KE 2.0 is use “Keyword Surge” and get data from it initially. Below is the main screen of the software, I just click the Keyword Surge icon.

I typically look for anything with below 50,000 competing pages, and around 2000 and above monthly searches. I know, it’s small, but if the keyword can be monetized, I just go do it. On an SEO standpoint, you just eat the small keywords and get bigger and harder keywords or just stick with lots of mini sites.

From here, you just need to find a product like those from Clickbank, or monetize the site with Google Adsense, Chitika or some other way.

So in conclusion, what I showed to you is just a small sample of what KE 2.0 can do. I started with the Google Keyword Tool, went on and bought Market Samurai, and then switched to Keyword Elite 2.0, which is now my best . It just worked out for me. I hope it works out for you too.

Talk to you guys soon!

Google Keyword tool can go a long way, but investing in a good keyword research tool is worth it in the long run.

I’ve been using both Micro Niche Finder and Market Samurai myself, but not this Keyword Elite or the 2.0 of it. With that said, the first two are great keyword research tools, and I find it hard to convince my to go and try a new one. I’d love to see you show off details on this one a bit :)

I still love Market Samurai for their constant updates. But I find myself using this now. Sometimes I just run both :)

I just have this addiction to software I guess. That’s why I try everything that comes out. I’ll try to make a video or follow up for this soon.

    Thanks Antti!

To be able to produce the greatest search engine ranking you will need to do a keyword research analysis to discover what keyphrases people type in for when they are searching online. A great keyword software will make things easier. It also facilitates if the niche you are exploring is one that you are fanatic about.
