spoaq022 240x300 Creation Build A Business For Your LifestyleDid you understand the title? When starting out, you should build a business for your lifestyle.

Here’s an example:
Greg Anderson started his online retail shop. He started using Ebay selling dresses for baby girls.

1. He posts product items on Ebay
2. He promoted his stuff on various websites, emailed friends to share with other contacts. AKA simple marketing
3. He got orders, which he then needed to process.
4. He also needed to supply and repost the products for sale on the site.
5. Managing Inventory
6. Ordering when supply is low and worry about delays/arrival time to meet his sales.
7. Handled and shipped packages, he also had to track shipping.
8. In between everything, he had to answer the same questions over and over again from customers….HE WAS CUSTOMER CARE.
9. He also had to worry about the competition because his niche was starting to get more competitors
10. He had to do all of this….everyday of the week.

He dreaded it. He couldn’t do what he wanted. He always had to check sales, checked shipping and so on. Everyday was a nightmare. He was burned out but he knew that if he stopped, the business will stop with him.

You see, this is very common in the community we live in, in our country, in the world. You will see this everywhere and you might even be here reading this because you are already trapped in that hole you dug yourself into.

Be it online or offline, there are millions of people suffering this fate with their businesses. If you think about it…

You Are Existing For The Business and not the other way around which is “The business is there for me”

What do I mean by that? Check this out.
Greg rethinks everything just to get himself out of the hole which is his business.

1. He thought about his problems, “what are my most time consuming activities?” “where should i focus?” so in short, the answer to those is mainly the grunt work, like customer service, reposting and shipping
2. He talked with the supplier to dropship for him. They agreed to a price.
3. He compiled all the customer support stuff and created a Frequently Asked Questions page and pointed people to read it first before buying.
4. Since he is still in the early stages of his online business, he used a software to handle all things Ebay. From posting, to reposting, to designing, to handling payments, to shipping. It also handled his inventory. Insert Affiliate Link Here
5. He redirected all contact to email and stopped call in’s. When the business gets big enough, he can then employ a 1-800 number. This is easily done and very cheap. I’ll be tackling this in a future post.
6. He already had a client base and he used technology again to aid him. He used an autoresponder to capture emails and follow up sales. He also used it for marketing new products and acquiring even more clients.
7. He had a lot of free time so he went out, had fun, enjoyed the slopes.
8. He came back home refreshed then just looks at his automated business. It’s all going smoothly.
9. Now he has time to grow the business. He can either start his own website to earn more profits without Ebay’s commission OR start planning for a new business OR whatever!
10. See? I put 10 steps just to equal to long steps above. These steps can actually be done in a day, at most a week. There’s endless possibilities because he works remotely now! Meaning, he could work even on the beach! He chooses when to work and not to!

There’s that uneasy feeling…and you will feel it too…you would feel like you are being worthless because of not working. I felt that too and it’s called Working For Work’s Sake. Get out of that funk. Do something, read stuff, study a new strategy or learn a new skill. This is the lifestyle everyone else wants and you can have it sooner rather than later.
